Bitcoin slipped below $78,000 during Wednesday morning trading, hovering between $76,400 and $77,100 at 10 a.m. after retreating from an Aug. 28 high of $81,455. Bulls are now defending the $76,229 support level as short-term weakness collides with a significantly stronger, longer-term moving-average structure. Short-term Charts Show a Fragile Rebound Bitcoin's price on the 1-hour chart logged a 2.2% decline from $78,542 to $76,810, clocking a $79,250 high before falling to an intraday low of $76,229.
